“No hay peor exilio, que el destierro provocado hacia uno mismo”

Pero siempre, mientras haya vida, habrá una luz en el exilio

"Light in the Exile is a series of illustrations that documents the author's recovery process from a period of dependence.

This project has been exhibited in several prestigious locations around the world, including New York, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

The series aims to help other people with psychological, emotional, dependency, or co-dependency issues through its illustrations, which tell different stories inspired by concepts that were the artist's lived experiences.

For Nuño, the main reason for creating these works is to provide hope through his own experience, which is reflected in each piece of Light in the Exile.

Through this series, Nuño takes us to surreal places full of color and nostalgia, illustrating different objects and characters that vividly express what the artist experienced over a period of three years.

The emotions and situations depicted in the series are not just a reflection of Nuño's personal journey, but of thousands of people who are trapped in self-destructive processes."
